Try it

What question it answers
"Who is this company, what has it filed recently with the SEC, and has it been named in any Federal Register documents?"
When to use it
- You have a ticker or CIK and want filing links plus basic identity (name, exchanges, SIC code, fiscal year end, state of incorporation) in one response.
When not to use it
- Financial data or analysis. It returns an index of filings and links, no financial statements, and it is not investment advice.
- Companies that do not file with the SEC, or non-US issuers.
- Reading older filings. Only the SEC "recent" list is used, up to 25 filings.
- Legal conclusions. Federal Register hits are a quoted-name keyword search, not a finding that a document is about this company.
Example
curl -i "https://toolmint-corp-intel.toolmint.workers.dev/brief?ticker=AAPL&filings=3&fr=2"

Data sources and licence
SEC EDGAR (www.sec.gov, data.sec.gov): public domain, US government work. Federal Register API: US government work. Not endorsed by the SEC, NARA or the Office of the Federal Register. Check the sources' terms if you redistribute.
Freshness and limits
- A brief is cached for 30 minutes in memory on one server instance; the SEC ticker list for 24 hours.
cachedandsourceFetchedAtshow what you got and when each source was fetched. - Federal Register matching searches the company name with punctuation removed ("AT&T Inc." becomes "ATT Inc"), so some names will miss documents.
- A name-only query matches by substring on SEC company names and returns at most 10 candidates.
- The service calls SEC and the Federal Register itself and does not currently enforce SEC's 10-requests-per-second guideline in code. The review recommends a rate-limit rule at the Cloudflare layer; it is not set up yet.
- If it runs out, paid calls fail and are not charged.
Errors are not charged
Payment settles only on a successful answer. These responses are never settled:
